Twelve Two Coaching

Online Life Coach

Be emptied and let your light shine.

We were all called to be free — in balance with ourselves, with the world around us, and with the Spirit within us. There is light in each of us. But over time, experiences, expectations and the things we've come to believe can make it harder to see.

Renewal is about clearing away what no longer belongs — and making space to see more clearly who you are and what might be possible from here.

Through one-to-one coaching, I help you look beneath what is happening on the surface, understand what may be shaping the way you see yourself and your life, and begin to see more clearly what is true and what may be possible from here.

When you see yourself more clearly, you live more freely.

Be emptied and let your light shine.

Understanding what has shaped the way you see yourself is not about staying in the past. It’s about creating the freedom to move forward differently.

The way we see ourselves influences so much of how we move through the world — what we believe is possible, what we accept, the choices we make, and who we believe we can become.

Sometimes renewal is about finding your way back after life has changed you.

Sometimes it is about seeing beyond the life you have known and discovering possibilities you never knew how to imagine.

Twelve Two is a space to understand the beliefs and perspectives that have influenced your story, release what no longer belongs, and see more clearly who you were created to be — and what may become possible from there.

Renewal can begin in many places.

Sometimes you know something has changed. Sometimes you just know something doesn’t feel right.

Sometimes life changes in ways we cannot ignore. A relationship ends, someone we love dies, addiction changes the way a family lives, a career shifts, or something we counted on no longer holds. In those moments, we know something has changed because life has made it obvious.

But other times, nothing is obviously wrong. We may have the job, the relationship, the responsibilities, and the life we worked hard to build, and still find ourselves wondering why it does not feel the way we expected it to. We keep having the same argument, questioning the same things, or noticing that the accomplishments we once wanted did not bring the sense of fulfillment we thought they would.

Sometimes there is no clear problem to name. There is only a feeling that something does not quite fit, or a question we cannot seem to shake about whether there is more to our life than what we can currently see.

Sometimes that feeling is enough to make us look again.

Sometimes renewal begins when something you have always accepted no longer feels completely true.

It may be something you learned to believe about yourself, about another person, about what life is supposed to look like, or about what you thought you had to carry.

When the way you see something changes, what once seemed fixed can begin to look different. You may see yourself differently. You may understand a relationship differently. You may begin to imagine a possibility you could not see before.

That is what renewal has come to mean to me — not becoming someone new, but learning to see more clearly and living differently because of it.

The Journey Within

We all move through life collecting messages, experiences, expectations, and beliefs about who we are, how life works, and what we are capable of.

Some of these come from the people around us. Some come from experiences that changed how we see ourselves. Some come from the roles we stepped into, the expectations we carried, or the ways we learned to navigate different seasons of life.

Over time, these messages can become so familiar that we stop recognizing them as something we learned to believe.

Renewal begins when we start to look more closely at that perspective — understanding what has shaped it, recognizing what may no longer fit, and making space to see more clearly what is already true within us and what may be possible from there.

Maybe you learned to see yourself as the person who always has to be strong.

Maybe you became the one who takes care of everyone else but rarely asks what you need.

Maybe a difficult experience, a mistake, or someone else’s words became a story you started carrying about who you are.

Maybe you achieved the things you thought would bring fulfillment, but still find yourself wondering if there is something more.

Sometimes that means becoming curious about the way you have learned to see — yourself, your life, and what you believe is possible.

Not to stay focused on the past, but to understand what has shaped your perspective, recognize what no longer fits, and create space for what comes next.

Because the beliefs we carry are not always the whole truth.

And when we begin to see more clearly, we can move forward with greater freedom, confidence, and purpose — not by becoming someone else, but by living more fully from who we were created to be.

Renewal is also about becoming open to possibilities beyond what we have known how to imagine — recognizing that the future does not have to be limited by what shaped the past.

Linda, founder of Twelve Two Coaching.

20 years of helping people rediscover who they are beneath what life has taught them to believe.

Experience taught me something no textbook ever could.

Corrections • Addictions • Shelters • Healing Centres

For two decades, my roles have changed, but the heart of my work hasn't.

It has always been about people.

Seeing beyond the circumstances in front of someone. Helping them separate what happened to them from who they are. Recognizing something good, strong or possible within them — sometimes before they could see it for themselves.

I've watched what can happen when that begins to change.

When someone starts seeing themselves through a different lens, they don't just think differently about who they are.

They begin making different choices about how they want to live.

That experience now shapes the way I coach: deeply personal, grounded in real life, and grounded in the belief that what you've experienced, what you've done, or what you've come to believe about yourself doesn't have to be the final word on who you are — or what's possible from here.

Why Twelve Two

compass.png

Twelve Two is rooted in Romans 12:2 and in a way of seeing that has shaped much of my life.

My faith taught me not to accept what is visible on the surface as the whole truth about a person. The world can define us by our behaviour, our circumstances, our accomplishments, our mistakes, our roles, or the things that have happened to us. But those things do not tell us everything about who someone is.

For me, renewing my mind began to mean learning to look differently — at myself, at other people, and at the world around me. The more I learned to look beyond what was immediately visible and toward what I believe God sees in us, the more I experienced freedom, peace, and a deeper understanding of what it means to live from what is true rather than simply from what the world has taught us to believe.

That is still how I see people now — knowing what is visible is never the whole of who someone is.

You do not have to share my faith to do this work. There is room here for your own beliefs, questions, and understanding of what is meaningful to you.

What People Have Said Along the Way

Long before Twelve Two Coaching had a name, this was the work I found myself doing — helping people see something in themselves they may have had difficulty seeing on their own.

“Thank you for ‘seeing me’ and being persistent enough to draw the best out of me.”

— M.W., Vancouver, BC

“You’ve helped me to believe in myself.”

— E.K., Winnipeg, MB

“You are always so kind and held space for me to speak my truth. I’ve learned so much about myself and have learned to have difficult conversations while showing compassion and grace.”

— S.A., Vancouver, BC

A Note About Accessibility

I want this work to be available to people who feel it could be helpful. Payment plans are available, and I also keep a limited number of reduced-rate spaces for those who may need them.

Why This Matters to Me

I've seen what becomes possible when people begin to see themselves more clearly.

For most of my life, through my work, my friendships, and the communities I have been part of, I have seen how quickly people can be understood by what is easiest to see — a behaviour, a diagnosis, an addiction, a criminal record, a loss, a decision, a role, or a circumstance. I have seen one part of a person become the way others understood them, and I also knew from my own life what it was like when something that happened, something someone said, or something you struggled with began to shape the way you saw yourself.

Romans 12:2 has guided me for most of my life, but my understanding of it changed as I did. When I was younger, I heard “do not conform” as something limiting — almost as though I was being told who I should not be. Over time, I came to understand it very differently.

I began to see that renewal was not about becoming someone else. It was about no longer allowing the world around me — its labels, expectations, judgments, or constantly changing definitions — to have the final word on who I was or how I saw other people.

That understanding brought freedom. The more I learned to look at myself, other people, and life through what I believed God saw rather than only through what was visible on the surface, the more things began to make sense.

Linda, founder of Twelve Two Coaching.

And that is not something I have only seen in my own life. I have seen what can happen when someone begins to question a definition they have lived under for years, when a circumstance stops being the only way they understand themselves, or when something they thought they had to accept begins to look different.

Sometimes nothing around them changes right away. But the way they understand what is in front of them does. And as they become more free from what had been defining or limiting them, they can begin to live from what they know to be true, rather than from what they had learned to accept.

That is why Romans 12:2 is not simply the name behind Twelve Two. It is the way I have come to understand renewal — seeing beyond what we have been taught to accept as true, becoming more free in how we see ourselves and our lives, and from that freedom, living with greater choice and possibility.

Because when we begin to see differently, what we believe is possible can begin to change too.

What might become possible if you could see more clearly?

Sometimes seeing something differently changes the choices that seem available to us.

You may realize you do not have to keep saying yes to something simply because you always have. You may understand a relationship in a way you could not before, or see that something you have been working toward is not actually what you want anymore. You may find yourself considering a possibility you had dismissed, or questioning something you once thought you had no choice but to accept.

Seeing more clearly does not always give us an immediate answer.

But it can change what we are able to see when we are deciding what comes next.

Let's start there.

When you see yourself more clearly, you live more freely.
